Kinalakhang lugar sa kultura ay mayaman,

Kulturang nabibigay daan tungo sa kaunlaran.

Masayahing mamamayan iyong masisilayan,

Na tanging hangad lang ay mapayapang lipunan.

 

Ito ay lugar na puno ng pag-asa at buhay,

Lugar kung saan mundo ay makulay.

Sumigla at umusbong bigla ang komersyo,

At ito’y naging tahanan na ng maraming tao.

 

Biglang gumulo, masayang mundo ko,

Iba’t ibang kaugalian, iba’t ibang tao.

Sa bigla paglobo ng bilang ng mamamayan,

Di ko namalayan, dumami na ang aking kaibigan.

 

Sa mundong may bahid ng politika at droga,

Kung saan maraming buhay na ang nasira.

Ang lugar na ito ay nananatiling masaya at payapa,

Kaaya-ayang tahanan sa mata ng bata.

VIA Survey of Character Strengths

  The survey that I chose was VIA Survey of Character Strengths, this measures 24-character strengths. I have chosen this survey because I believe that it is closely relevant to me being an entrepreneur. Below are the results of the test.

To answer the three questions required for this week’s written assignment, below are my responses.

The qualities that I need to develop to realize my full potential as an entrepreneur are leadership, creativity, ingenuity and originality. These qualities are essential in building my own business as an entrepreneur and based on the scores provided above, they ranked third and fourth as my strength. Therefore, there are still a lot of room for me to improve these qualities and ensure to bring these qualities to the first ranked of the twenty-four strengths listed in the survey.

I make my conclusions based on my understanding to the facts provided, it is very important that you have a full understanding to the context for you to be able to provide an accurate and relevant conclusion. When I create my conclusion, I always make sure to highlight the issue and provide recommendation and state the facts to support the argument that I wanted to established. It is very important that the conclusion will impact the understanding and the decision of the reader.

Providing feedback is harder than receiving the feedback; however, when I provide feedback, I always make sure to provide and highlight good things that I observed first to set the mood of the receiver and boost their esteem. Then, provide what could have been done to make it better, this means that instead of just providing what was missed – I always make sure to provide what could have been done to ensure that the receiver will not only realize that there were misses but also help them understand how it can be done better. On the other hand, me – as a receiver – I would want the same structure when feedback is given to me. This is also to ensure that I understand the giver and what is it that s/he want to observed in my work. But nonetheless, I am open to any type of feedback regardless of the structure but I prefer to follow the same structure as I am practicing.

Fish have high sense of different waves under the water surface, they are believed to have strong radar that can easily sense movements even in the deepest and darkness part of the ocean. Just like fish, Pisceans are highly emotional intuitive, they can easily sense others' emotions even by just observing the surrounding. This trait helped them uncover unspoken issues or concerns that others' may have.

Understanding our peers, friends, or even the strangers that surrounds us is very important because it will help us on how we can effectively communicate to them. Now that you have learned about common traits of the sign of the fish, you can now effectively communicate and engage to them.

Breaking the Shell

Introversion, gender preference, sexuality, religious belief, and many other things are enclosed by a shell like an egg. Would you want others to break the shell protecting it? Or would you prefer to break it yourself from the inside?

Breaking an egg shell is a broad action, it can end a life or start a life, this depends whether we break it from the outside or the inside. It is very important that as an individual, we are careful - especially in dealing with others - because we may break the shell protecting them and cause regrettable actions in the future.

Just like the egg, other people may need a warmer approach and environment for them to mature and be capable of breaking their own shell. In life, it is hard to deal with personal issues and that there is no need for us to add to the burden they're carrying.

We need to always remember that we all have personal space and for people to respect that, we need to make sure that we respect theirs. Let us not do things that will break nor put others' shell because there will be no second chances once we break it.
